The Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles is one of the most diverse places in the city. Although the area has undergone significant renewal, it still remains a community in transition. BrandCulture worked with the area's Business Improvement District to highlight the ongoing renaissance of the area in concert with its historic significance to the city.

Leveraging the tagline “What’s Old Is New,” we developed an outdoor campaign and environmental graphics that highlight the unique art and architecture found in the area and effectively combines its storied history and the cutting edge.

From vibrant banners reflecting the district’s unique spirit to back-in-trend pins that give residents and tourists a piece of a district, the Historic Core's invigorated design speaks to the community - even our modern world.
