Jon Hutson
Managing Director

Jon is a pioneer in wedding the disciples of strategic branding and culture development united in Shared Purpose. From the time he had the prescience to purchase the domain “BrandCulture.com” back in the last Millennium, Jon cultivated the idea of forming a new kind of agency that integrates brand and organizational development as the flip sides of the same coin. With BrandCulture now in its second decade, Jon takes singular satisfaction in finding that the world has, at long last, come around to his point of view.

Jon has previously held senior strategic and business development roles within Wolfgang Puck, Siegel + Gale, Imagination and Caribiner International, where his clients have included BMW, BEA Systems, Ford, The Coca-Cola Company, Holiday Inn Worldwide, Jiffy Lube, Lexus, Motorola, Philips Electronics and other global organizations.

Jon serves on the board of the Michael Hoefflin Foundation and holds a BS in Finance from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and an MS in Real Estate and Urban Affairs from Georgia State University.

Eric Pinckert
Managing Director

As a Co-founder and Managing Director of BrandCulture, Eric leads BrandCulture’s strategy practice. Across his career, Eric has worked with big and small organizations alike put their respective best feet forward through strategic branding, naming, print and digital media.

Prior to BrandCulture, Eric served in a variety of client- and agency-side executive positions, including Head of Corporate Affairs and Head of Strategic Marketing for LRN Corporation and Senior Vice President at global branding and interactive media consultancy Siegel + Gale. Earlier, Eric was an attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, where he specialized in representing technology clients.

Eric is an honors graduate of Harvard Law School, holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Stanford University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He also studied at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford and the University of Urbino in Italy.

Patrizia Schopf
Creative Director

Leading corporate and product identity programs from BrandCulture’s Barcelona office, Patrizia’s decade-plus experience developing visual identity systems for a variety of organizations across Europe brings BrandCulture’s clients not only deeply strategic design solutions, but a distinctly progressive aesthetic. Patrizia’s most recent work includes developing breakthrough identity systems for Proxima, Bovitz, Westwood Village and the Center for the Digital Future.

Patrizia started her career with QWER Design and also served as an art director with SUMMA, roles in which she led creative development for Indo, the Barcelona Voll-Damm Jazz Festival, Kulturregion Hanover and Apiserum.

Patrizia currently teaches design at IED Barcelona. She is a graduate of the Communications Design program at the University of Applied Science in Augsburg and completed postgraduate studies at EINA Escola de Disseny i Art in Barcelona.

Kenneth R. Brousseau, PhD
Managing Director - Organizational Leadership

Kenneth R. Brousseau specializes in behavioral assessment systems for purposes of management selection, performance management, career advisement and helping executive teams work more effectively together. He is the co-founder and CEO of Decision Dynamics LLC, the behavior profiling and human resource systems design firm. At BrandCulture, Ken provides valuable insights and decision-making tools to empower executive teams to better understand their thought processes — both when working independently and collaborating with colleagues -- to assess and improve outcome across organizational roles and responsibilities.

Over the past thirty years, Ken has consulted for a broad range of global public and private organizations, including NASA, ARCO, ABB, Educational Testing Service, FAA, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Northern Telecom, United Parcel Service, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, Home Depot, The Aerospace Corporation, Rockwell International, Sigma Alimentos, S.A. and Western Digital Corporation. Dr. Brousseau is the co-author of The Dynamic Decision Maker and author of numerous articles on career development, work system design, team development and organization design which have appeared in the Harvard Business Review, the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Performance and many other peer-reviewed, academic publications. Ken is also a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Earlier Ken was on the faculty of the Management and Organization department at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. Dr. Brousseau holds a Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Yale University.

Ross Mitchell, PhD

With years of experience on both the agency and client side, Dr. Mitchell leads WHOA, an innovation agency and has led International Research and Innovation for both Ford and AT&T on topics ranging from autonomous vehicles to new mobility ventures and omni-channel retail transformation. Earlier at a number of agencies, Ross developed projects for global leaders including Samsung, LG, Mitsubishi and Allergan across five continents.

As a graduate of Stanford’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship program along with the University of Georgia’s Marketing Research program, Dr. Michell’s extensive educational background incorporates a blended focus on social science research and business strategy. Ross holds a PhD in Science and Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is pursuing an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ralph Ardill
Brand Experience Strategist

Ralph is an expert consultant, speaker and author on Brand Transformation and Experiential Design and has consulted to some of the world’s leading brands including BP, Coca-Cola, CBRE, Diageo and Ford. Ralph brings a pragmatic and powerful cocktail of management consulting, brand strategy, experience design and change management to deliver brand-led, design-inspired business transformation across the total experience of businesses.

After beginning his strategic branding career with the Brand Union f/k/a Sampson Tyrrell, Ralph served 10+ years as Marketing and Strategy Director of the London-based Imagination, Ltd. Ralph is the author of pioneering "Experience" book, "Experience Design" Knowledge Cell for Design Council and "The Future of Brands and Shopping Places" for British Council of Shopping Centres. Ralph is visiting Fellow at York St. John University and holds a Masters in Management Science from Warwick University and Bachelors of Science in Physics and Geology from Staffordshire University.

Savi Lopez Negrete
Service Design Strategist

Savi is a Design Strategist with a background in service design, ethnography and innovation. Her experience is cross-industry, ranging from healthcare and education to consumer goods and mixed-use developments. She utilizes a human-centered, interdisciplinary approach to tackle business, customer and societal challenges, specifically focusing on enhancing interactions. She has brought innovative thinking to clients such as Samsung, Honda, Lowe's, Shell Oil, Fruit of the Loom, Art Center College of Design, and The Truth Campaign, amongst others. Savi is passionate about design as a tool to re-envision systems, drive creativity and challenge the status quo. She has an MSc from The London School of Economics in City Design & Social Science and a BFA from Parsons The New School for Design in Integrated Design.

Andrea De La Cerda
Senior Consultant

Andrea brings foundational marketing strategy and precise execution in equal measure to BrandCulture — with an extra dash of and social media mastery. For over a decade, Andrea has served leading brands, including Pacific Life, Honda, Nestlé and Public Storage, at a number of prominent agencies. More recently, Andrea has expanded her media relations practice to focus on the dynamic world of social media and marketing, counseling BrandCulture’s client’s on SEO and best practices for their online promotions and networking.

Andrea is a recipient of the Monty McKinney Award for Outstanding Advertising by AAAA and was recognized as a “40 under 40” recipient for co-founding the popular family-focused social network sites SCV-Moms.com & SCV-Family.com. When not delivering exceptional value to BrandCulture clients, Andrea advocates for three local non-profits as an active board member: The SCV Family YMCA, Justin Time Children’s House and Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley. Andrea holds both a BA in Advertising & Business Administration and an MA in Education from Pepperdine University, where she was awarded “Advertiser of the Year” in 1999.

Alice Goldsmith
Senior Consultant

Alice is a Senior Consultant with a background in sustainability, entrepreneurship and design. She spent five years honing her branding skills as the owner of a floral design studio, Wild Vase. Alice believes in cross-collaboration and Wild Vase succeeded partly due to strategic partnering with brands such as Shinola, Urban Outfitters and Mara Hoffman. Her passion for the environment led her to Presidio Graduate School where she received her MBA in Sustainable Management, with a focus on marketing and design thinking. She is interested in leveraging business for the greater good and believes good design is the key to problem solving. In addition to her MBA, Alice holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University.

Beth Glavosek
Senior Consultant

There is clear, compelling writing and then there is Beth Glavosek clear and compelling writing. Based in our Atlanta office, Beth is a consummate communicator who brings decades of experience navigating some of the most complex communications challenges across alternative investments, banking, financial planning, global logistics, insurance and technology. Beth has a particular expertise in making complex financial and technology concepts easier to understand… and easier to sell.

Earlier, Beth served as a Senior Writer at Wells Real Estate Funds, a sponsor of nontraded REITs and other alternative real estate investments and Pacific Life Annuities and Mutual Funds. Beth began her copywriting career at global branding agency Siegel+Gale. Over the course of her work across financial services, she became NASD (now FINRA) Series 6 and 26 licensed. Beth holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Georgia.

Mark Hoffman
Human Capital Strategist

Mark has 30+ years of experience in key executive leadership roles in Human Resources, Marketing, Sales and Operations. He has led and supported organizations through significant change including accelerated growth, restructuring, mergers and downsizing. His experience in the high tech implantable medical and 3D printing industries (Bristol-Myers / Squibb (Zimmer), Intermedics, Advanced Bionics, St. Jude Medical and Stratasys) has given him a unique appreciation regarding the importance of how a powerful brand that is effective both externally and internally can contribute to a strong and sustainable company culture. Mark understands the work environment from a human resources business partner perspective and a human resources customer perspective. He has helped organizations assess complex situations, resolve organizational challenges, maximize performance, leveraging tools and processes to address and bring about positive change.

Mark is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and earned his Master’s in Secondary Education Administration from the University of Missouri. Passionate about education, he serves on the boards of Trinity Classical Academy in Santa Clarita and the Biomedical Engineering department at Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Marcy Willis
Organizational Strategist

Marcy brings an extensive knowledge organizational strategy to BrandCulture, focusing on the training facilitation, leadership development, coaching and consulting best practices and more. Marcy's passion supporting diverse individuals, teams and organizations through the change process is matched by her personal warmth and creativity. Marcy is also the founder of MW Agent of Change, where her solid analytic, evaluative and systematic skills create sustainable change.

Marcy earned her Master’s Degree in Positive Organizational Behavior and Evaluation from Claremont Graduate University and is also a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and hold multiple certifications including: Hogan Leadership Assessments, Prosci Change Management, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, DiSC, EQ-i 2.0, ATD Master Trainer and Risk Type Compass.

Nisse Ferguson
Organizational Strategist

Nisse is the Client Service Director at Decision Dynamics and manages the firm’s strategic alliance and collaboration with BrandCulture. Her multidisciplinary skill set spans client management, one-on-one & team assessment debriefing and development of new methodologies in current organizational performance and tool developments to improve decision making and collaboration throughout organizations. Nisse has extensive expertise in administering and interpreting the results the firm's behavioral assessments, including its flagship StyleView and CareerView assessments which are used throughout the world for executive recruiting, executive advisory services, team development and career advisement. Her practice also helps identify behavioral requirements and motivational themes across organizations that are needed to accomplish important objectives by assessing and analyzing individual profiles and an aggregated team profile in comparison to the behavioral and motivational benchmarks. Nisse’s background in fine arts lends a creative touch to her client solutions, wedding visual inspiration and acumen with fundamental strategic soundness. Nisse holds a B.FA. in Fine Art from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, where she focused on photography and painting.

Dijana Galijasevic
Organizational Strategist

Dijana is an organizational development strategist and facilitator. She finds meaning in cultivating human connections and inspiring leaders and individuals to realize their potential(s) to transform cultures and organizations. Her unconventional background and innovative spirit give her an opportunity to approach challenges with constant applicable out-of-the box mindset. Making a decision to transition from a governmental role to building a startup at a young age gave her priceless experience in building a company, while discovering opportunities that are exponentially changing the business world. Dijana co-founded of a global initiative called Positive Business Lab, that inspires individuals and organizations to pursue their genuine kind purpose.

Dijana holds an Executive Masters degree from both - SDA Bocconi in Italy and ESADE in Spain, and has completed an Organizational Development program at Columbia University Teachers College in USA. She is pursuing her PhD in Ethics and Responsible Leadership in Business in Germany.

Rochele Melo
Organizational Strategist

Rochele brings her sharp curiosity and generalist perspective to deeply understand clients’ needs and crystallize these needs in important insights that drive changes and new paths. Her abilities as project manager and process designer are proved by her collaborative nature. With a background in Business Development and broad knowledge of many industrial sectors, she has a holistic view combined with a detailed approach. Throughout of her experience, she has had the opportunity to work in a variety of projects for organizations as Braskem, Carrefour, Coca-Cola, United Nations, European Commission and more. She also co-founded an initiative called Positive Business Lab, that inspires individuals and organizations to pursue their genuine kind purpose.

Rochele was granted her BA in Chemical Engineer in Brazil, a master in Strategic Design in Spain and continued her education at MSc. in Strategies and Technologies for the Development, where she intends to work with new frameworks as the Sustainable Development Goals and Social Entrepreneurship.

Melanie Murphy
Wellness Strategist

Equal parts quick study and raconteur, coupled with a passion for wellness, Melanie excels at the art of developing the potential of great brands and distilling them into powerful and effective public and media relations campaigns with a focus in nutrition and health. She brings disciplined focus and strategic energy to her work, supporting the goals of her clients through compelling strategic marketing, public relations and social media initiatives that build enduring brand awareness, increase sales and drive market share. She also navigates seamlessly across the technology, healthcare, lifestyle, insurance and consumer industries, securing client coverage in leading publications from TechCrunch to The Wall Street Journal. Over her diverse career, she has represented leading brands including Johnson & Johnson, Allergan, DePuy Orthopaedics, Metagenics and Brighter.com.

Melanie earned her BA in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Georgia, and is pursuing her MS in Nutrition and Wellness from the University of Southern California.

Susan Weller
F&B Programming Strategist

With over 30 years in the foodservice arena, Susan's primary focus has been to lead talented teams to achieve creative, sustainable solutions with enduring value. Her operations career started with opening and operating Spiaggia restaurant, Chicago and continued with Hyatt International Hotels and Kimpton Group. Her concept development, franchise brand and multi-venue innovations continued at ARAMARK and Compass Group as Brand Development Director and Innovation Center lead.

Susan holds a BS from École Hôtelière, Lausanne, Switzerland and a BA from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA.

Yannick Lord
Digital Experience Strategist

Yannick leverages technical and creative strategy, Agile leadership and digital transformation across strategic marketing and technology functions. For more than two decades Yannick has created and executed complex, award-winning digital marketing campaigns, sites, apps and experiential tech for global brands across the United States and Europe.

Throughout his career, Yannick has combined his passion for connecting brands to consumers and businesses with a love of emerging technology. Most recently he spearheaded the Toyota.com technology team as VP, Client Partner for iCrossing, pioneering Toyota’s interagency Agile roll-out, driving multi-million-dollar operational efficiencies and leading content innovation and performance and personalization initiatives. Yannick has also led the creation of world-first consumer experiences for AT&T, Blizzard, Dignity Health, Lexus and VW, among others. Yannick began his career in Executive Search and recruiting.

A certified expert in Agile Scrum methodology, Yannick studied Industrial Engineering at L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Bourges and Fine Art at Les Beaux Arts de Bourges in France. He has served as an Advice Columnist for Marie Claire and New Woman, guest writer for Creative Review and guest lecturer at Bournemouth University’s 3D Animation facility.

Cort Howell
Executive Producer

Responsible for video strategy, story ideation and overseeing production, Cort helps our clients leverage video storytelling in their corporate communications and marketing.

Cort has more than three decades’ experience in broadcast television advertising, and his award-winning campaigns have generated more than $2 billion in trackable sales for clients such as Zumba, Guthy-Renker, Murad, NutriBullet, Beachbody and Jenny Craig. Cort also was recognized as one of the five most influential producers in direct response television by the Jordan Whitney Report.

Olga Severina
Design Director

Olga comes to us by way of Ukraine. Holding extensive deep-rooted experience in graphic design, she has a true understanding of how to transform a brand into a thriving company. She is proficient in multimedia marketing and web design with first-hand management experience, both internationally and here in Los Angeles. Her previous work experience includes stints at Netkach Promotions, Aplent Design Group and Publishing House Personalities. Olga works with BrandCulture’s clients in developing corporate identity, marketing collateral and website design.

Olga holds a BA, MA and Ph.D. in Graphic Design from the Design Academy of Kharkov, Ukraine. After obtaining her education she became involved with some of the leading poster and art competitions that promote graphic design and environmental sustainability. As part of this effort, Olga started working with an International Eco-Poster Exhibition, The 4th Block, where she served as an exhibit curator in 2006-2012.
Following her passion for environmental awareness, Olga founded PosterTerritory, an initiative envisioned as a takeoff platform for contemporary poster exhibitions.

Stephan Wiendahl
Motion Graphic Designer

Overseeing BrandCulture’s motion graphics and digital animation production work, Stephan’s long and storied experience art directing and producing motion graphics for a wide array of organizations gives BrandCulture the expanded capability to accurately convey and illustrate our clients’ brand message across all forms of digital media.

Stephan’s most recent work includes creating the informative and inspiring animation for Princess Cruises, showcasing the “Moments that Matter” crewmembers create for guests while aboard a Princess ship. Stephan also helped lead the digital animation development for other BrandCulture clients including VMWare, Groovv, Cinedigm and Srixon/Cleveland Golf.

Stephan work encompasses film and video storytelling for globally recognized organizations such as the 2006 Winter Olympics, Disney Media at Feedmee Design in Köln, Telecom and more. Stephan’s passion for motion pictures and how stories are told through media began in the Department of Design at the University of Applied Sciences and the International School of Design in Köln, Germany.

Sona Gevorkyan
Architectural Designer

Sona is an experienced residential, commercial, hospitality, furniture and product designer with an extensive work background from internationally recognized firms SOM and Rottet Studio, as well as teaching experience at SCI-Arc and Kyoto Seika University.

Sona received her Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

Ralf Beckert
Video Producer & Director

Located in our Barcelona office, Ralf manages the film and video production efforts, ensuring BrandCulture is continuously abreast on the best and most innovative methods within digital media and branding.

Whether it's creating a visually astounding trailer for the international courier DHL or producing a video for global superstar Christina Aguilera, Ralf ensures his talent and integrity are integral aspects of his work. With his wide array of experiences, Ralf specializes in film, post-production, directing and photography.

Lilly Sur

As a designer, Lilly combines infectious enthusiasm with a unique combination of print, digital and motion-graphic design that helps activate BrandCulture client brands across today’s digital landscape.

She has been active launching BrandCulture’s own new brand identity, while providing design support for clients including Cinedigm, Epson, Michael Hoefflin Foundation, VMware and Westwood Village. Prior to BrandCulture, Lilly worked with Seoul-based Infinite and The Children's Museum at La Habra.

Lilly holds a BFA in Advertising from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.

Franzisko López Bernad

Energizing the design department in our Barcelona office, Fran comes from a rich background of design work as well as teaching. He brings a magician’s legerdemain to transforming design into captivating video and motion graphic experiences. Fran earned his degree from EINA Escola de Disseny in Art in Barcelona and Taller d'Art Rafel Plaza.

In addition, Fran molds the minds of the future of Europe's best designers as a professor at the Taller d'Art Ateneu Santfeliuenc while simultaneously being a priceless addition to the BrandCulture team.

Kim Fox
Lead Developer

The three letters in “Kim” and three more in “Fox” serve as a visible hallmark of the efficiency, laser-like focus and eschewal of extraneous adornment that defines the elegance of Kim’s code and superb functionality of the websites she develops across BrandCulture engagements. With more than a decade of experience building sites on WordPress, Kim has remained true to her conviction that websites are not simply ambassadors for each brand, but also critical tools to achieve tangible business results. In addition to WordPress, Kim also specializes in HTML5, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and jQuery. Kim builds websites for a wide range of both B2C and B2B businesses with equal relish and also has an extensive portfolio of custom applications and
WordPress plug-ins.

Kim holds a BA from The Master’s College.

Gary Thompson

Gary's path in branding started in a classroom in the heart of Paris. Upon returning to the States, he took a semester off to intern at a leading branding consultancy in Atlanta.

Discontent with simply sitting in the classroom, Gary expanded his branding perspective when he took the role of Director of Brand Strategy at a start-up social media agency in his college town during his senior year, as well as after he graduated. There he worked across digital platforms shaping the brands of a wide variety of clients. After graduating with an international business degree from MSU, he continued his career developing brand strategy and creative campaigns for national clients at a digital marketing agency in Atlanta.

Gary brings his wide array of experience to BrandCulture Atlanta where he drives research and develops insights that contribute to compelling proprietary brands.

Stephen Burns
Creative Writer

As a writer, Stephen brings BrandCulture a sense of inspiration and exploration.

With a background in literature and creative writing, professional experience in internal communications and branding, and a personal proficiency in songwriting and performance, Stephen’s writing is reverent to traditional grammar with an innate sense of rhythm and modern syntax. He can express nuance professional ideals without unnecessary corporate verbosity and appeal to a range of audiences by making even the most elevated information approachable.

He is concise; he knows how to use semi-colons, and he always ends short pieces of copy perfectly.

Dani Miles
Public Relations Specialist

Dani serves as BrandCulture’s PR executor. Through securing earned media placements, she works to establish BrandCulture as a thought leader in the realms of branding and cultural development and integrated marketing.

Dani has spent her entire career in marketing, PR, and sales management, beginning at one of the largest independent investment firms in the country. Dani oversaw the firm-wide content creation, management and editing, including interactive websites, client deliverable templates, press releases and public communications. Sony Pictures Entertainment hired Dani in 2014 to drive marketing strategy for their home entertainment division. Working closely with a myriad of internal and external resources, Dani crafted marketing briefs, including publicity, added value, artwork, packaging, TV spots, print, digital and radio.

Dani graduated Cum Laude from The University of Miami with a BS in finance.
